Mel B fronts Fitness First’s International Fitness Week – find out how she lost her baby weight
I have hurt my back and cannot workout for at least 2 days so this article is really difficult for me to write – mainly because it is all about working out!

Mel B is the new face of Fitness First and she has spoken about her recent weight loss, post-pregnancy. The singer who formed a fifth of The Spice Girls has been speaking to MyDaily about International Fitness Week. During International Fitness Week Fitness First will open its gym doors for free classes, inductions and healthy living lessons.
During the interview Melanie admits that she tries to work out every other day but it is hard to fit in with three kids. She worked hard to lose her baby weight and claims that working out just makes her feel far better. Mel has recently gotten into running as well as cross-training and intervals but she has just started experimenting with different classes and heavier weights. Just like me she likes to change things regularly so she does not get bored.
Mel is a well known advocate of the Jenny Craig diet and she gives some weight loss tips:
I eat every three to four hours, and I eat a lot of chicken, vegetables, salads – I just try and fill my body with lots of good stuff. But once a week I have what I call my ‘Sod It Sundays’ where I eat whatever I want. You do have to be realistic about it as well, I think. If you deny yourself everything then you just end up wanting to binge eat, which is not good!
Fitness First’s International Fitness week runs from Monday 19th March to Sunday 25th March 2012. To download your free seven-day guest pass and discover your nearest gym, visit internationalfitnessweek.com.
