Kym Marsh, Sacha Parkinson and Catherine Tyldesley go glam at Gavin Blyth Memorial Ball (PHOTOS)
The Coronation Street girls were glamorous for a memorial ball last night. Kym Marsh was at the Gavin Blyth Memorial Ball with Sacha Parkinson and Catherine Tyldesley.
Gavin Blyth was a former Emmerdale and Coronation Street producer who died aged just 41 from cancer. Gavin started in Emmerdale in 2003 and died from a form of Lymphoma cancer at St James’ Hospital in Leeds in 2010, only a matter of weeks after it had been diagnosed.
The event was held last year too and rose £60,000 for charity. Kym went for a full-length turquoise gown that showed the star’s fabulous figure. She wore her hair in soft curls and added just a slick of nude lipstick and a sparkly clutch bag. Sacha, who left the show recently on her wedding day to lesbian lover Sophie Webster, wore a paler blue maxi dress. The halter-neck number was billowing and flattering but she really needed to stand up straight to carry it off.
Catherine, who plays Eva Price in the soap, went for an eye-catching nude number. She always has her boobs out, its her look so we weren’t really surprised by this. I think that she is learning that she is not a great actress, will likely to be a flash in the pan in Corrie and might as well do what she can to show her face on the red carpet hoping for some sort of longevity.
