Kate Middleton hopes to recruit Kelly Hoppen to decorate Kensington Palace
Kate Middleton is reportedly filling her long days redecorating Kensington Palace. The young Duchess of Cambridge has asked an interior designer to redecorate her newlywed home. She is hoping to recruit Kelly Hoppen to help with the decoration of the couple’s official and permanent base.

Hoppen is a South African born designer who started her career at the age of 16 by designing Gary Rhodes’ restaurant W1. She is renowned for her neutral colour scheme and focuses on creating a calm environment. She has won a number of awards and Kate is hoping that she will add the royal couple to her list of clients.
Work on the apartment is due to start in September while the couple live in their cottage in Anglesey in North Wales. A source told Us Weekly:
”She’s keen to work with interior designer Kelly Hoppen, but she wants to do a lot herself.”
