Elizabeth Olsen insists she is famous in her own right in Glamour photo shoot (PHOTOS)
Elizabeth Olsen is loving her new Hollywood status and insists that she is famous in her own right, not because of who her sisters are.

The 23-year-old model appears in the latest edition of Glamour magazine posing in a variety of cute, military inspired outfits. In one shot we see the blonde model in a white t-shirt with an owl on the front, tucked into a black pencil skirt wearing a chunky coat over her shoulders and finished off with a pair of red leather gloves and slick of red lipstick.

The star of Martha Marcy May Marlene is also seen in a more grown up shot, sitting on a stool with a gold jacket over a white shirt which she wears with black leggings and black leather ankle boots. In the accompanying interview she insists that she has not got where she is because of her sisters:
‘My last name has always been my motivator to get proper acting training and be taken seriously. I didn’t get to where I am because of who I’m related to.’
However, she admits that her sisters are good for something, their fashion knowledge. The twins are successful fashion designers.
‘They figured it all out, and I should just listen to them more.’
And despite the fact that Olsen has starred in a number of movies (her latest movie, Liberal Arts, is due to be released soon) and is regularly spotted on the red carpet, she admits that she has not got used to being famous yet:
‘Yesterday three people told me that I look like Elizabeth Olsen. That’s never happened before. So awkward.’
Elizabeth’s photo shoot and interview feature in the September 2012 issue of Glamour Magazine US, out now.
