Cher Lloyd releases Pink Diamond perfume and stays quirky in purple tutu for Today Show (PHOTOS)

Cher Lloyd is on a career high at the moment. This week, she has appeared on one of America’s biggest morning television shows to perform and her debut perfume has exceeded demand by 500% on the very first day of its launch.

Cher Lloyd fans love the star's individual style

The 19-year-old  is going from strength-to-strength as her single, Want U Back, goes platinum in the UK and the top ten in America. So it is a great time to follow in the footsteps of other top singers like Jennifer Lopez, Kylie and Britney Spears and release her own scent.

The Cher Lloyd perfume starts at £15 for 30ml, and features white chocolate, jasmin and quince

Cher took to Twitter to announce the launch of the £15 perfume:

‘Very excited to announce I am launching my first fragrance!!!xxx What do you think? #pinkdiamond’

The Fragrance Shop has said that it is the biggest launch of a celebrity perfume that they have ever seen:

‘It’s our biggest celebrity launch to date.

‘We have had to order in extra stocks today, as we were about to sell out.

‘It has exceeded our expectations by over 500%!’

Cher Lloyd perfume has jasmin, kiwi, vanilla, orchid and quince and white chocolate (does white chocolate smell???) and is in a pink diamond shaped bottle.

The X Factor star lived up to her quirky style in America yesterday for her performance in New York on the Today Show wearing a tiny, brightly coloured mini dress as she sang in front of the audience. Cher wore that tutu style dress with a pair of sequined pants to hide her modesty, and a pair of Nike high tops, ankle socks and gold linked earrings.

The teenager Tweeted:

‘Had an amazing time @TodayShow thank you so much for having me!!!xxx’ she tweeted, before adding: ‘On my way to @BestBuy to do the signing on 529 5th Ave @ 44th Street see you there!!!xxx.’
Cher’s album, Sticks and Stones is set to be released in America on October 2.
