Kate and Pippa Middleton are style twins!

Kate Middleton may have grabbed herself a Prince but Pippa Middleton has shown that she is far from overshadowed by her big sister!

While there is disagreement about which sister is the most fashionable when we look a little closer at the two we realise that their styles are very similar. This is perhaps not surprising considering that their mother dresses in a similar style (have a look at the photo of Carole and Pippa Middleton shopping on the King’s Road).

There is only a year and a half between the girls and they have very similar frames and similar hairstyles.

The girls mirror each other’s styles regardless of the occassion.

Here they are spotted in casual summer dresses which are nipped in at the waist, both have a small print in similar neutral colours. Their hairs are in similar styles and they are accessorising with structured satchel bags and sunglasses. Finally, both ladies are wearing the dresses with flats! Pippa’s dress is from French Connection if you want to grab it for yourself!

Sure the Middleton sisters look fantastic in Alexander McQueen dresses but they can also look great in casual attire.

In the photo below we see Pippa the day after the royal wedding which catapulted her to the dizzying heights of fame wearing high street brands. Pippa is wearing straight-leg white jeans just like her sister who was spotted out and about in London long before the wedding in a similar pair. Perhaps they still borrow clothes from eachother?

The Middleton girls kept their shoe colour similar to give an unbroken line and elongate their legs.

Pippa is photographed here in another outfit for the royal wedding, this time it is a green silk gown from Alice Temperley, London. Pippa’s green dress really caught everyone’s attention and hit the headlines for weeks after the wedding.

However, it was her sister Kate who wore the vibrant, floor-length silk backless dress with plunging neckline first!

We all remember the blue Issa dress that Kate wore to announce her engagement to Prince William. As a result of the Duchess of Cambridge’s patronage Issa became the star of London fashion week and the dress sold out within hours. Pippa Middleton is obviously a fan of the look as well. She went for a similar jewel coloured dress in a wrap style although it was ill-fitting and nowhere near as flattering as her sister’s!

Both Middleton sisters wore the dress with plain black shoes and flowing hair.
