Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy get married – Abbey wears Giles Deacon wedding dress

Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy have got married in Leicestershire yesterday. The Liverpool born model, Abbey, 25, wore a strapless Giles Deacon dress for the wedding on the grounds of Stapleford Park hotel to marry the Tottenham Hotspurs striker.

Peter is known for his 6ft 7in height but Abbey managed to kiss her husband with the help of huge heels and a sloping pavement! Abbey has just given birth for the first time three months ago but still managed to slip into a size 6 dress.

Abbey’s wedding dress was a white, corset style gown with a tiered silk skirt. It is rumoured to have cost £10,000. We loved Abbey’s tousled hair and droplet earrings. It was a very relaxed and pretty look. Abbey kept her eye make-up smoky and had just a slick of pale pink lipstick.

Abbey and Peter got married at the Church of St Mary Magdalene which sits in the grounds of a luxury country house hotel.

Abbey and Peter have been together for six years. They split up in 2006 during the European cup in Germany because of allegations of drug use by Clancy but got back together soon after. Then in the summer of 2009 allegations of Crouch paying a prostitute for sex at a Madrid stag weekend rocked the relationship again. Obviously all the problems are sorted now!
