Kate Middleton made Issa the star of London Fashion Week
Before Kate wore Daniella Helayel’s label Issa to announce her engagement to Prince William, it was relatively unknown.
After she was spotted wearing the Issa blue silk dress, it sold out worldwide and is now one of the most talked about lables in the world.
As we have said before at StyleJacking, Kate Middleton is worth big fashion bucks.
Having replaced Lady Gaga as the top online fashion search phrases the princess to be has made her fashion choices a headline affair.
The designer Daniella Helayel is behind Issa London. She is Brazillian born and studied law in Rio de Janerio before moving to New York to train in fashion. As a result of Kate wearing the infamous dress, pre-collection sales are up by 45%.
Issa has other loyal followers including Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Scarlett Johansson and Hilary Swank. Helayel says that she designs dresses for “real women”. At StyleJacking we love that she designs dresses that may not be fashion forward but are stylish and wearable for more than one season.
