Diana Vickers reveals Dee V – her cute retro collection for Very.co.uk

Celebs all over are launching their own collaborative fashion ranges – perhaps they are hoping to emulate the success of the gorgeous Victoria Beckham. Pixie Lott recently launched her new collection for Lipsy and now Diana Vickers is the latest pop star to launch her own range.

Like Fern Cotton and Holly Willoughby Diana has launched a collection with Very.co.uk

Dan Rubel, Brand Director of the online fashion site said: ’Diana is emerging as a style icon and has bought her unique sense of style into her first ever fashion collection.

‘We’re delighted to have her on board and feel she is a great addition to the celebrity designers Very.co.uk already boasts. We are confident that her collection will be a big hit with our customers.’

The collection is inspired by the 60s and is a small 8 piece capsule collection with floral prints and pastels.

Vickers, 19, was a semi-finalist on the fifth series of the X Factor and has since had success with her solo career.

She said that her collection was inspired by US TV series Mad Men, just like every other celebrity collection this season seems to be….

Diana’s collection will go on sale on Friday with prices from £20 to £99 for items including sequin dresses, cotton tees and wide leg jeans.

She said:

‘It is fun with a sophisticated twist. It’s full of unique prints and gorgeous colours.’

19-year-old Diana is known for her individual fashion sense and this is reflected in her debut collection. The pretty feminine palette is cute and very wearable this season. We particularly like this midi-length floral dress. Its nipped in waist is perfectly flattering and the floral trend is great for this season.

Vickers said

‘It is important to me that people will look at the collection and see that it has come from me.’
