Dancing on Ice: judge Jason Gardiner says Cheryl Cole’s style is very hit and miss

Jason Gardiner, judge on Dancing on Ice and fashion expert for This Morning, has said that he isn’t too impressed with Cheryl Cole’s fashion sense.

In an interview to Now Magazine Jason, 39, said that if he were to score Cheryl Cole on her style, he would not be giving her full marks.

‘If she styles herself, it’s a disaster.’

To be honest though, some of Jason’s segments on This Morning are laughable. The sports bra test in which the presenters voted according to the look of the bra and the ‘bounce factor’ was unbelievable – he made the models bounce on a trampoline and the camera zoomed in, hilarious!

Jason is known as the toughest judge on television. He grew up in Australia and faced a great deal of bullying for being gay. Gardiner insists that he is not a bully;

‘Bullying is relentless, unsolicited and unwarranted – what I do is give a critique,’ he tells Now.

‘It might be a bit spicy, but that isn’t a bully.

‘Believe me, I know what a bully is.’

A few weeks ago Jason caused controversy after making spiteful comments to Karen Barber, a skating coach, which received 2,200 complaints to ITV and OFcom. Gardiner gave contestant Johnson Beharry a low score and Baber defended the former soldier.

Gardiner rolled his eyes and responded,

“If your opinion still mattered you’d be on the panel.”
