Cheryl Cole shines in Giambattista Valli orange dress at Fox Upfront presentation in New York

Cheryl Cole is obviously taking Simon Cowell’s fashion advice.

The X Factor boss was not impressed by her ridiculous hair and bright coloured outfit at last week’s LA auditions and insiders say he has since insisted that Cheryl takes on some new stylists to help her perfect her look for America.

Well last night, Cole looked demure and sophisticated as she turned up to Fox Upfront at Wollman Rink in New York City’s Central Park, wearing a stunning Giambattista Valli orange silk blend dress with pockets.

The new X Factor USA judge looked fresh faced and natural and teamed the gown with a pretty pair of Giuseppe Zanotti T Bar cream sandals and an exquisite Vivienne Westwood pearl & orb necklace.
