All eyes on the Royal wedding. Kate Middleton is worth big fashion bucks!

When Kate Middleton announced her engagement to her Prince charming the lovely Prince William, she wore Issa. The dress cost over £500 and within hours was sold out worldwide, including in Harvey Nichols in London. In days replicas were available at Tesco.

The Royal Wedding on 29 April 2011 will be a global event. Kate has been catapulted into style icon. Any fashion disaster will be worth a fortune for the lucky paparazzi to snap it. Any designer she wears will reap the benefits. Kate is now worth big bucks to the fashion industry!

We really like her style. Some have described it as boring but we think she knows what suits her and she wears it. She wears classic pieces that are well cut. She mixes designer with high street (she is a fan of Reiss and Whistles) and we like that she is not necessarily fashion forward but is stylish. It means that in 20 years time when she is Queen Kate photos of her wearing harem pants and looking ridiculous won’t crop up to embarrass her in front of foreign dignitaries! This is a photo of her at a hen night and it is fair to say, this should definitely be avoided….
